- Film adaptation of the play that has brought over one million people to theaters across Brazil, “Minha Mãe É uma Peça – O Filme” follows the hilarious misadventures of Hermínia, a middle-aged, retired woman whose children are all grown up and husband has just left her for a younger woman.
  Suddenly in the void of boredom, her biggest concern is now finding something to do. And this “something” usually ends up being still trying to take care of her children, who are less than welcoming, or complaining about life to her aunt, meddling in her neighbor’s lives…
