- Synopsis
- Milos, an 11-year-old boy, wakes up locked in a cage. The masked kidnapper does not interact with him at all except staring at him without talking. In an attempt to find a way out of this situation and discover the kidnapper's identity, Milos begins to remember how he spent the last month.
  
  It's summer vacation. Milos and Bobby are best friends. Other children shun them, but this doesn't bother them to have a cheerful childhood. An atomic bunker serves as their secret place. Milos is an avid collector of insects, and Bobby draws and paints. However, their friendship is challenged when Maggie moves into the neighborhood. Bobby has a crush on her.
  
  At first, Milos reluctantly tolerates Maggie to please Bobby, but when Bobby starts avoiding him to be alone with her, Milos begins to feel neglected. He believes that Bobby has broken the oath they made to each other as children. Namely, Milos has saved Bobby from drowning, and they have sworn to each other to be best friends ever since.
  
  At one point, Milos discovers that the mysterious kidnapper is Grandpa Rick, Bobby's grandfather. He suspects that Milos is to blame for the disappearance of Bobby and Maggie, of who there has been no sign for several days. But Milos claims to be innocent. He insists that Bobby and Maggie ran away together and that he swore to Bobby to not tell anyone.
  
  Grandpa Rick wants to believe Milos about his innocence, but at the same time, he is ready to go to extremes to find out the truth behind the disappearance of the two children.
