    • Synopsis
    • Miles & War takes an up-close look at three international private peace mediators. When traditional diplomacy fails, these professionally trained people are sent to conflict zones to mediate between two opposing parties to broker a mutual understanding. The film is a personal view of today's conflicts seen through the unusual occupation of these mediators as they travel to Darfur, the Philippines and Libya. We learn their motivation, their loneliness and their rare moments of victory. "If you want to put an end to war, you have to talk to the fighters" is a motto that brings them to the brink of exhaustion and triumph.
