- The basis for this film “Metropolitan Andrey” is the life and work of a renowned historical figure and church leader, Metropolitan of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Andrey Sheptycky (1865-1944).
  Descended from an old noble family, which included well known religious and military leaders, diplomats and politicians, he chose tо serve God and his people.
