- Synopsis
- Louisa Palmira, born in France to Portuguese refugees fleeing the dictatorship. In 1979, at age 8, Louisa is big with her illiterate mother and small when her father drinks too much. Too little when she finds out that he has a mistress. But her reality is even crueller when she becomes her father's unique confident. He's going to die and she won't believe it.
