    • Synopsis
    • Alena (10y.o.) and Nikita (8y.o.) are step brother-sister whose mother died. As they don’t want to stay in separate orphanages they decide to run away and set out in search of their fathers. They met the cruel world of adults where people can cheat orphans, they could just buy them or throw them into the streets. The feeling of hunger brought them to the supermarket. There melodrama tranfroms to the fars: “Gilded youth” just imitating the thiefs-kleptomaniacs from point of view the starving eyes of Alena... Film is made in genre of a christmas fairy-tale but just adapted to today's reality. Hunger, cold, orphanhood, poverty, riches are simple, distinct things, openly and comprehensible telling about the essence of life..
