    • Synopsis
    • The buses in Kabul are called ‘Melli-bus’ meaning ‘National bus’. They are old and worn out. The passengers are ordinary people from the poor classes of the society, which is more than 80% of the total population of Afghanistan. The buses of Kabul have the stink of blood, bullets and smoke, and still have the screams of women whose breasts were cut and the satisfied voice of the war-monsters…The film is a few working days of the Melli- bus driver Hassan. The bus trip from central Kabul to West- Kabul will be the ‘red thread’ to bring the stories together that happen inside the bus and outside the bus, to portrait the Afghan society: the darkness in the most shinny sunshine of the world, the deepest melancholic insanity, as said beautifully by an Afghan writer.
