    • Synopsis
    • Meeting Point portrays the close working relationship between Alfredo and Paulina, two filmmakers who use fiction cinema trying to reconstruct the memory of their fathers who forged a deep friendship in 1975, when they shared a small cell in Villa Grimaldi, an emblematic torture center of the Pinochet dictatorship in Chile. Both filmmakers involve in the filming process Lucho, Paulina's father who survived the Villa, and Silvia, widow of Alfredo's father, who to this day is a detained- disappeared. The emotional traces of this story are revealed as we witness how they film what happened, showing the consequences that human rights violations have on families to this day. Will their children who accompany them in this process be heirs of this trauma too?
