- Synopsis
- After the photograph of a Syrian toddler’s lifeless body on a beach makes headlines, lifeguards Oscar and Gerard head to Lesbos, where the refugees cross to from Turkey. But their idea to help out for a few days gets turned on end: there are no lifeguards or any authorities on the Greek shores. And multiple deaths on the water are a daily occurrence. They can’t go home.
