    • Synopsis
    • The handlers of Senate candidate Jason Mitchell approach his former lover Mary Jo Sanders in an attempt to bribe her into continued silence about her pregnancy and subsequent birth of Jason's son Kyle. Direct and passionate, Mary Jo insists that she wants to confront Jason face-to-face. After a bitter exchange, Mary Jo still refuses the bribe. Jason's backer – the powerful Cree Miner – tries to threaten and coerce her to stay silent and take the payoff.

Enter a local journalist who promises to reveal both Jason’s and Cree Miner’s injustices toward Mary Jo. After the attempt to go public fails, Mary Joe attempts her own form of revenge and justice, resulting in unintended consequences. As a result, Mary Jo becomes a fugitive from the law. A suspenseful chase ensues. Sheriff Hank Namos and team pursue Mary Jo – who still has her infant child with her – into the backcountry of South Carolina. We're kept on the edge of our seats until the shocking conclusion.
