    • Synopsis
    • The film follows the main stories of Walter Veltroni's book "Maybe God is ill"- The writer describes a trip he made through tormented Africa where wars, hunger and Aids generate everyday disasters. The tour goes through different countries:- Mozambic, Angola, Senegal, Cameroun, Uganda and South Africa. Everybody knows Africa is in a very difficult period, but is anyone able to understand the world’s responsibilities for this situation? Could these problems be considered as the beginning of a world crisis?
"Everything is becoming global, except consciences, specially not the western ones" the writer declares. All the stories in the film are introduced by song, the majority of them written especially for the film. The songs are sung by some of the singers of the countries where the film is being shot. The singers appear in the film while they are recording the songs, to testimony with their physical presence their personal involvement. This kind of approach - the basic structure of the film - will flow parallel to the documentary and fiction story. Its purpose is to recount both the tragedies and hopes of continents like Africa.
