- Synopsis
- This is the true story of May 15, 1848, when protesters in Paris finally pushed the French establishment to let them have a popular vote to elect their ruler, only to see the outcome of their revolution backfire and turn against their own interests when the demagogue Louis-Napoléon Bonaparte seized power through the ballot box and turned France into a dictatorship.
