- Synopsis
- 16-year-old Max McGrath and his mother have just moved back to Copper Canyon, the town in which Max’s father died in a mysterious accident shortly after Max was born. As Max adjusts to his new school, things get complicated when his body starts to generate a strange and beautiful energy that he can’t control.
  Although initially exhilarating, Max has trouble hiding these unpredictable energy flare-ups, causing him to further distance himself from those around him including the girl he likes. The energy soon becomes too intense for his body to control. On the verge of a fatal explosion, a mysterious being clamps onto Max just before he loses consciousness.
  This mysterious being is Steel – a techno-organic alien life form that feeds off of Max’s energy. Unfortunately for Max, however, Steel can offer no answers about what is happening to him – Steel has lost his memory, remembering only that he is tasked with protecting Max. They learn that neither can survive without the other – Steel regulates Max’s Tachyon energy, and Max’s Tachyon energy sustains Steel. This bond, however, has added benefits – Steel allows Max to control the energy, giving Max super human powers.
  With their bond as the hero Max Steel, they learn to protect each other and the people that they care about. This becomes increasingly difficult as they find themselves tracked by an unforeseen enemy, secret agents, and mysterious forces bent on capturing Steel for their own unknown agendas. Only by working together can they save each other while trying to discover the source of Max’s power, the secret of Steel’s past, and the truth about Max’s father that will change both of their worlds forever.
