    • Synopsis
    • It is 1997 and civil war has erupted in Albania. A small community is organizing to reach their loved ones who have emigrated to Italy by sea. Artur, a young musician, joins them to be reunited with his mother Luisa.
      Landing in Bari, he joins the Italian family caring for his mother.
      While Luisa battles cancer, Artur dreams of becoming an Italian citizen.
      Artur wakes up in the hospital a few years later. Luisa’s condition has worsened and her last wish is to return to her homeland.
      Artur is left with one last challenge: to cross the sea in the opposite direction.
