    • Synopsis
    • MAMI BLUE is a comic road movie telling the story of two women who flee from their every day lives, escaping to find freedom.
The story begins when Teresa a ‘young lady’ going on 80 years old, who has just been abandoned by her son, and Luz Estela, her young carer, decide to break free and run off on a mad escapade in Luz Estela’s boyfriend’s tuned motor.
Aside from the booty that the car is carrying, this escape gives rise to an entertaining persecution that takes us through the surprising landscapes that Teresa’s son, Luz Estela’s mafia boyfriend, a gang of petty traffickers and the police all inhabit in the company of an intriguing variety of side-characters.
A crazy adventure, full of surprises, that changes their lives in ways that they’d never have imagined.
