    • Maiko's destiny was already decided before she was born. The name Maiko in Japanese means dancing child. Her mother, the driving force behind her career, sold their house and car to send a 14 year old Maiko to the most prestigious dancing schools in Europe. She was only 19 years old when she was casted as Odette in Swan Lake. Since then she's been the star of the company, casted by world famous choreographers. But things are about to change...

      Maiko’s life will change when the company hires a new ballet director and if so far, Maiko’s position has been safe, she now decides it’s time to start a family and challenges what she’s been fighting for all her life…
