- Synopsis
- Mika, a small-time boxer with big ambitions, struggles to get by - until Stephanie, his long-time friend and makeshift manager, lands him a gig sparring with famous pro fighter Freddy Elombe. What seems like the chance of a lifetime is actually just a set-up: Freddy has to postpone his fight against European champion Joshua Camara to avoid a doping test. But when they spar, Freddy's obnoxious overconfidence is too much for Mika, who can't hold back. In one huge, unexpected uppercut, Mika knocks Freddy out. The scene goes viral, and Mika becomes a star overnight and the media buzz gets so overblown, he finds himself in line to fight Camara himself! Although, he doesn't stand a chance, Mika starts his intense and unusual training with the help of wise old former champion Reda Roussel. Will he have the guts to brave serious injury, even death, to save the family honor and fulfill his dreams?
