- Synopsis
- An erupting volcano in Iceland blocks air-traffic in Europe. The British airspace remains closed for days. This prevents a flight from London to Sofia to take off and leads to the events described in the three stories whose protagonists had to be on that flight.
  
  The Ivanov spouses have decided to separate. They still love each other but Mrs. Ivanova remains to work in London and her husband plans to go back to Bulgaria. They say their goodbyes but are forced to spend several more days together by the blocked air-traffic. Both of the are trying to convince the other that there is future for them but aren't they just prolonging the agony of an already finished relationship?
  
  Nikolay is a young and highly confident pilot. He was supposed to operate the plane to Sofia and is notified in the last minute that the flight is cancelled. This leads to an accidental meeting with Silvia whom he used to love madly. Years have passed and they are both married to different people now. Nikolay even has two kids. The unexpected meeting provokes feelings and desires in them, which they considered to be long-forgotten. Are they going to risk to be together or would they just go back to the security of their daily routines.
  
  Adrian is a Bulgarian student in London. He travels to Sofia to fulfill a promise he made to his girlfriend. As the flights are cancelled, he meets Mr. Bernard Tefa - a mysterious stranger who offers they travel to Sofia by car and together with his huge dog - Lucky. The young man agrees. On the road the beautiful girl Anke joins them. The characters of Adrian and Anke are totally different but there are sparks between them. Adrian has to choose between fulfilling his promise and going on an adventure with his new friend.
  
  The endings of the three stories are all different. To some they may all seems like happy ends, while for others - tragedies. After all none of these exists in its pure form in life. Just choices and their consequences.
