Giacinto is part of PAI, the Fascist police in African colonies. After the defeat in Ethiopia and some year of secrecy, Giacinto returns to Italy between PAI’s veterans, a unit loyal to the king. He become protagonist of a clamorous action, favored by Raffaele and Maria’s unclear relation. Clandestine operations, secret meetings and ideological discussions between a partisan and a fascist. They work together to liberation of some political prisoner. A night of 1944 is the cornerstone of the story: Giacinto makes seep some partisan between Fascist policemen and Nazi soldiers, remaining in the oblivion of heroes that the story will never unearth. War, colonization, migration. A mirror through the past and the present. This short film can shed light on historical shadows and on disenchantment of ideologies. How Lost Heroes can still be present?
