    • When the war ended in 1975, Tai, a soldier of former Saigon Administration, came back as a loser. To struggle for survival, he had no choice. He brought his concubine with her child to a new land, which was widely dumpled with mines and bombs left from the war. There, he met a guide named Nam Duc, an expert landmine-remover and barwires collecter in the minefields to change for alcohol and small changes. Tai was taught how to earn money by that way. Everyday, he went to the minefield at the risk of his life and in fear of his wives and kids... to remove landmines. Sometime, he witnessed of close people lost there lives. Hundreds and then thousands of mines and bombs were removed. He had a simple conclusive root that landmines were only dangerous when they're stepped over. Being taken out, they were like baby stones…
