    • Long time ago in ancient Japan, human beings could still see Yokai monsters and were afraid of them. However, as time passed and civilization and enlightenment progressed, people started forgetting about them…
      Though a son of the leader of all Yokai monsters, Mikoshi Nyudo, an adorable looking monster, Tofu Boy, has no talent in scaring the human beings. He is always scolded by his father and laughed by his monster friends. One day, he decides to go on a journey to find about a meaning of his life as a Yokai monster and to see his mother he’s never met before. On the journey, Tofu Boy and Daruma (Tofu’s guardian) get trapped under the eaves of temple by raccoons that are planning to overthrow Yokai monsters.
      When somehow Tofu Boy and Daruma get out of the eaves, 200 years has passed and they are in the present age! There is no sign of any Yokai monsters nearby, and humans who have been haunted by the raccoons are leading their lives as if Yokai monsters never existed. Panicked, the two go into an roller coaster adventure in the modern world, trying to seek a way for humans to remember them, and to search for their lost family and friends…
