- The year is 2028. America as we know it has become bankrupt and turned into a war zone; many of its citizens have fled overseas to urban metropolises like Hong Kong where "refugees" live in a walled off city-within-a-city, alive with bogus chain stores, neon and rock music - and other recreated sights and sounds from home. Here, neighbourhoods are counterfeit recreations of major American cities like New York and Miami, each filled with their own vibrant culture... and ruling criminal class. Welcome to LITTLE AMERICA. For grizzled former Army Ranger Ray Cobb (Sylvester Stallone), the grimy streets of LITTLE AMERICA are a fresh start after the destruction of his home and the loss of his beautiful wife. But Ray cannot get used to the uneasy blend of this new Asian metropolis and the almost comedically phony reminders of home. Nor can he outrun his past. After landing in jail for brawling in self-defense, Ray is recruited by an old friend, John Winters, to help rescue the daughter of an Asian billionaire industrialist. With the highly-skilled sister of the missing woman along for the ride, Ray must draw upon all of his street smarts and physical resilience to navigate the darkest underbelly of LITTLE AMERICA and solve the crime - or end up back in prison. In this action-packed race against time, Ray will ultimately discover a plot to destroy the walled city and everyone in it, and will do everything he can to restore order and hold on to what’s left of his old life.
