In an imaginary town in Cuba in the early ‘60s, Soviet atomic missiles are placed. Two young boys, Sergio and Aurelio are after Lisanka who is the most beautiful and popular girl in town. A group of Soviet soldiers arrives in town and with them is Volodia. Daily lives in town inevitably change.

    • Synopsis
    • Close to Veredas del Guayabal, an imaginary town in Cuba in the early ‘60s, Soviet atomic missiles are placed. Two young boys, Sergio and Aurelio are after Lisanka, a girl who drives a tractor and is the most beautiful and popular in the place. The Missile Crisis is about to begin and a “group” of Soviet soldiers arrives in town. One of them is Volodia, who becomes a dangerous rival for Sergio and Aurelio. Daily life in town and Lisanka’s own life inevitably change.
