- Synopsis
- Prison Unit No. 31 in Ezeiza is the only Federal Prison authorized to incarcerate mothers while pregnant, or with their small children. At present, the Prison houses 242 women and 114 children under 4 years of age; 63 were born behind bars and 37 have never been allowed outside the prison walls. Julia, a two weeks pregnant, 25 year-old university student with no criminal record, is sent to this prison for murdering two men; one, the father of her child.
