    • Synopsis
    • Pegah (her name means dawn) is a teenage girl, a free spirit, is living in a big city in a very traditionalist Iran. She is trying her best to provide money for her best boy/friend Hooman. Hooman is held in a drug withdrawal camp and needs the money ASAP otherwise he will be send to forced labour camp where many people die. Pegah is desperate and gets into a huge debt over helping her friend. She manages to get Hooman out but her troubles are only starting now. Day and night, she is being chased by the people who want their money back. Unable to come up with the money on time her friendship with Hooman suffers greatly. Pegah is trapped between her feelings for Hooman and the hard reality of daily life. Her family does not seem to understand her struggle either and therefore she has nowhere to turn for support. Her mother is forcing her into a relationship with a different boy and Pegah can no longer withstand the pressure. She herself starts taking drugs and disappears. She is trying to run away and refuses to finish the filming of the documentary. After a while she comes back with a new revelation about the boy her mother prefers to Hooman. Will it be all too much for her or will she be able to fix her life and fulfil her life long dream?
