- Synopsis
- - THE SHADOW (Toscana 1929) The arrival of an eccentric painter disturbs the peace of a ‘grand-dame’ of theatre, who has chosen the beach to cure her nervous arthritis.
  - THE SLAP (Lazio 1958) A guard dog, a passing train, a vigorous man in search of adventure, each throw light onto the complex relationship between Marta and Francine.
  - HOT STUFF (Puglia 1979) The beginning and the end of a friendship between a lonely sixteen year old youth, and an ungainly, overweight, teenage girl being buffeted by the hormonal storms of puberty.
  - THE DEATH OF MARIA SALVA (Campania 1993) Following the death of his mother, a transsexual is obliged to resume relations with his sisters who have never been able accept the differences between them.
