    • Synopsis
    • Leni is crying. She’s surrounded by broken things in the aftermath of a fight. She weeps in anger, letting out all of her despair. But her cries turn to screams and her screams into darkness.

Now under the night sky and winter’s bony trees, she gasps as she’s dragged into a hole and buried alive. Leni wakes up in fright from her recurring nightmare only to face the same scene over and over; the house she inherited from terrible parents and boxes of her ex’s belongings still around.

Exhausted from the lack of sleep she becomes increasingly paranoid, Leni feels stalked by someone or something. It’s as if her nightmares have crept into her waking hours eroding her ability to discern what’s real from what’s not.

It’s in this context that Leni tries to regain control of her life and sanity; she starts a new relationship, gets the books in order for the business she used to share with her ex, and trains her body to defend itself if her violent past comes back. But her momentum gets interrupted when someone breaks into her home. She finds her ex’s things are gone and she feels his presence closer than ever.

With real danger closing in on her and the nightmares piercing into her reality, Leni must confront her darkest memories and battle her monsters, both real and perceived.
