Legacy of the Sea is an exploration of the stories of the port’s family. Juan Iglesias builds the meaning of being embarked in Pica I for more than 60 years, defying the fate of navigating the sea of Patagonia. Meanwhile, at the pier, the fishermen's mothers wait for their family to return alive.

- Synopsis
- Legado del Mar deeply explores different stories and voices. Through interviews we seek to forge a perspective full of details and specifics about what it means to live embarked in the Argentinian Sea. The camera and photography proposal is intended to be a piece of art. The colors of the sunrise and sunset over the sea, seem like brushstrokes that along with camera movements describe the work of these fishermen, our protagonists.
  
  The proposal of the documentary is based on the human factor, the work is used to get closer to the people and their stories.
  
  The purpose of the work is to share this cultural encounter with the widest possible audience. Traditional fishing families are the ones that will identify the most. Also, we think that this particular story is a reflection of all the families who work hard, with passion and that try to transmit their traditions, "The Legacy".
