- Synopsis
- In 1989 one thousand ingots of Roman lead coming from Spain, and now without any trace of radioactivity, are found in Sardinia. This awakens the interest of Ettore Fiorini, an eminent particle physicist: for him it would be very useful to shield the experimental device with which, in the depths of the Gran Sasso, he conducts his research on the origin of matter. It is the beginning of a very particular human and study story. Fiorini meets the archaeologist Donatella Salvi: physics and archaeology come together in an unexpected and fascinating collaboration, a search for fundamental answers.
