- Synopsis
- Ten years ago, Halima, 20, suddenly left France to Quebec. One day she met Sylvain, 32, quiet engineer, and built a new life with him. Today, after a tranquil decade, her latest pregnancy stirs her to the point that her partners Sylvain and their 6 years daughter are worried. She fears she might be unable to love her son. Her past needs to be faced.
  
  Together they go to France where she finds aging parents, where her brothers and sisters have also started a different life. While Sylvain and Léa meet them and learn to know them, these reunions are difficult for Halima and she shuts herself to her wounded child memories. Yet the adult she has become has to pieces together these difficult childhood memories if she is to save her connection to her future male child.
