Synopsis
This 2 part film (2x52 min) tells the story of Le Corbusier's adventure in Nehru's India in the 1950s, using Le Corbusier’s writings, letters to his wife, mother, Indian clients, interviews with the actors of the day both Indian and French, as well as well known present day International historians, critics and architects. Rare documents, photographs, drawings, even a newsreel, have been put together with the images of the most important buildings of Le Corbusier in India. Buildings that have became a pilgrimage spot for architects from all over the world ever since, but which are sometimes unknown even to the citizens of the cities where they lie.
