    • Synopsis
    • A handful of men and women from around the world, illegal migrants, decide to go on a hunger strike. In a church, they gather around a leader, Kader, who seems to know the path for them to follow.
Under his orders, Esma unites the group around daily tasks.
Day after day with the strikers, she braves the fast and the anxiety of a struggle in which life and death are at stake.
In an overcrowded environment, sharing their fears and their hopes, the different members of the group learn to live together. But Kader, tempted by a black market organized around illegal immigrants, betrays the group. Later, while Esma’s struggle becomes more and more radical, she discovers the « deal » made by Kader.
Betrayed by their leader, on the verge of implosion, what outcome for this group in their life and death struggle?
