- Synopsis
- In this edgy film noir thriller, divorce lawyer John MacDonald (DANIEL TRAVIS, “Open Water,” “Thank You For Smoking”) gets involved with an alluring married woman named Gloria Conovan (JUSTINE EYRE, “Ocean Ave.”). Gloria and her husband Tom (STEVE DuMOUCHEL, “The Hawk Is Dying”) have a prenuptial agreement which stipulates that if he is ever unfaithful, she will be entitled to a huge divorce settlement.
  John and Gloria devise a scheme to set Tom up, enlisting another woman (KARLA OSELLA, “CSI : Miami”) to seduce him and hiring a private investigator (TIM WARE, “Walk The Line,” “Monster”) to document his infidelity. At first, things seem to work out according to the couple's plan, but as the plot unfolds, it becomes clear that nothing is quite what it seems. The human impulses get darker, and the film moves with unsentimental resolve toward a shocking conclusion.
