‘The Last Race’ focuses on the historical ski race in 1913, which became a backdrop to dramatic events involving Bohumil Hanč, the most famous Czech cross country ski champion, Václav Vrbata, and Emerich Rath a German athlete. The race tested not only their will to win but also to live.
