In a terrible car accident, Azul, thirty years old, looses both husband and son. Only she survives the tragedy. Afflicted, destroyed, she runs away from the city, and takes refuge in a small cabin on a desert beach in attempt to reconstruct herself, to forget. But it’s impossible. She won’t eat. In her state of weakness, surrounded by the powerful wilderness, she starts to hallucinate, and slowly sinks into madness. Her sister tries to take her back home, but in vain. A wandering dog adopts her, her last travel companion. After an encounter with a fisherman, Azul wants to believe in a miracle: to replace one child with another one, one life with another...
