    • Synopsis
    • In February 2022, 15 musicians from the string orchestra «Kyiv Soloists» went on what was meant to be a short concert tour in Italy. The same night Russia invaded their homeland. In the chaos that follows, they decide to expand their tour around Europe. Through their art and music they create support and empathy for Ukraine. After two months with concerts every day, Arctic Philharmonic offers them housing and work in Bodø, Norway. Even though the break is long-awaited, it is temporary. They started the mission together, but as time goes on, they need to find their own missions and ways to live during the war. How can they make choices for the future, when the war overshadows everything.

Director Trond Kvig Andreassen has achieved an unique and intimate look into an orchestra in disintegration. The result is a warm documentary that touches the audiences and makes you reflect on what choices you would have made yourself.
