- Synopsis
- The awkward and sometimes inarticulate Kie Hirano (Ayase) works as a clerk in a large company. She escapes from reality by retreating into her own fantasy world where she has daily conversations with a cast of quirky characters that populate her mind. Mitsumasa Kodai (Saito) is a tall, handsome businessman from the fabulously wealthy Kodai family. Transferring to Kie’s office, he’s known as the ‘prince’ amongst staff, gliding through corridors with poise and confidence.
  
  The two appear to be worlds apart. Then, out of the blue, Mitsumasa begins to woo the tongue-tied Kie and appears to be able to respond to her inner thoughts as if he was reading her mind.Which, it turns out, he is. And before long Kie realises that not only is Mitsumasa telepathic but so is the whole Kodai family. Dropping her defences, love blooms but there appears to be a formidable obstacle to the young couple’s happiness - in the form of Mitsumasa’s mother Yuko (Mao Daichi) …
