Synopsis
When fate brings together disillusioned music teacher JJ with self-confessed 'low life scum' Naoise & Liam Og, the sound of Irish music is changed forever.
Their West Belfast hip-hop group, Kneecap, fast become unlikely figureheads of the civil rights movement to save the Irish language.
But police, paramilitaries & politicians soon threaten to derail their ambitions - even if their worst enemies are often themselves.
Across the globe a language dies every 40 days – this is the darkly comic true story about the fight to save one of them.
