    • Synopsis
    • This isn't the Iceland of geysers or midnight sun that Junior has returned to, but that of a run-down trailer park in a wind-swept, barren nowhere. And "Junior" isn't a child, even if he is rather immature. Junior, who lives in Germany, has brought his friend Rupert home to Iceland with him and hopes to obtain money from his wheeler-dealer father, who's called "Senior." But Senior has no money for Junior he's desperately trying to stay afloat and not being pulled down by his spoiled girlfriend and eccentric mother. The harried Senior hardly notices the other human wrecks populating the trailer park: the park's terminally ill-tempered administrator a slacker musician and his frustrated, pregnant girlfriend two very different middle-aged twins whose glamorous actress mother abandoned them years ago and now shows up in a brief "cameo" appearance… In the midst of all this colorful humanity, Junior finally reaches out to his father and learns that life " just like King's Road " isn't a dead-end street..
