    • Synopsis
    • Hundreds of thousands of people in Israel and around the world belong to the Hassidic movement, a social religious creed, which since its birth over 250 years ago, has changed the face of Judaism. A secular person looking at the Hassidic members from outside views them as one monolithic entity, so strange and different from his own existence. The series Kingdoms is a first of its kind attempt to present an intimate look at the Hassidic world solely through the eyes of the men and women of this community. It is not an attempt to judge, but to list, to try to understand what motivates them, and what are the world views and beliefs that guide them.
