    • Synopsis
    • "As it stands, there are more than 900 streets across the country named after Dr. Martin
Luther King, Jr., and of those streets, many are located in blighted neighborhoods. This is a common theme that is well-known among the Black community in the USA. It’s such a common trend, that comedians such as Chris Rock have poked fun at the issue in his “Bigger and Blacker” stand-up routine. King Blvd is a fictional movie about “Joshua”, a young man who lives on MLK BLVD, who attempts to transform his community into a place that really honors Dr. King. Joshua’s efforts are challenged as a Real Estate Development Firm eyes his MLK Blvd as a new home for a state-of-the-art Sports Stadium. Joining him on his important and hilarious journey are old friends and new allies."
