    • Synopsis
    • Despite a terrible season, loyal football fans 'Wigsy' and 'Cliff' join the thousands of fellow supporters each week to sing their team to victory. But today is different. Today is important. Win and they stay up. Lose and they go down. In the dying moments of the match, their team scores, all is good but... the Ref disallows the goal. Determined to right this injustice, Wigsy and his reluctant friend take matters in to their own hands and kidnap him. The plan is simple: show the Ref the replay of the 'goal' again and again until he admits his mistake and is willing to announce it to the world. Driven by an all-consuming belief he's a hero of the people Wigsy drags Cliff on a nightmare journey from which they may not survive. What else could possibly go wrong?!
