    • Synopsis
    • KEN - THE MOVIE (WT) tells a fictional story of the real American musician Ken Stringfellow (48), who left America 15 years ago to start a new life in Europe. After a failed relationship, the fictional character KEN sets out for his homeland to look for his roots for the first time. From here, a journey begins with a secret,
through hope and dreams, fiction and reality, a mix of emotions, childhood memories, the unconscious.

Ken is on tour through the US. It’s a road he’s travelled a thousand times before, but on this occasion his world is turned upside-down. The towns appear deserted, his shows are going badly, and his nerves are at breaking point. One morning, he wakes to find his voice gone — an event that sends him over the edge, plunging into a catastrophic breakdown. Stranded and distressed, he is haunted by the memory of his bodily mother abandoning him as a child. After deciding he's had enough emotional torment, he takes fate into his own hands and begins
the search for his lost family, taking a long and painful road back to life.

On his way, KEN meets KIM (Kim Taylor) and they spend some days and nights together, improvising songs - Kim is lending Ken her voice - and reflecting about life and music. An intimate friendship slowly evolves between the two of them, which soon comes to an end because, before Ken can make a new beginning, he has to go on traveling to find his roots, alone.
