- Sir Thomas Kellen, a legendary 75-year-old British actor, dies suddenly during filming, leaving behind an unfinished movie and a grieving film industry.
  
  As the producers are on the verge of scrapping the project, Thomas’s sole heir, Sarah, agrees to use her grandfather’s posthumous image to finish the film. Employing cutting-edge technology, the producers hold auditions to find an actor who will serve as the basis for the digital recreation (motion capture) of Sir Thomas.
  
  Mickaël, an actor in pursuit of success, is selected, unaware that his image will be transformed to resemble that of the late actor. This role of a lifetime plunges him into a quest for identity, an exploration of Sir Thomas’s memory, and the puzzle of his artistic legacy. Navigating the ethical stakes of the technology, the weight of the legacy, and his own ambition, Mickaël must discover why Sir Thomas had envisioned him as his successor.
