    • Synopsis
    • Among serious practitioners of ju-jitu, the Nameless Dojo is rumored to house the most important artifact of ju-jitu history: The Fighting Warrant. It was the only exception to the ban on martial arts which lasted for 5 years during the American occupation of Japan after WWII. Whoever possessed the Fighting Warrant was allowed to challenge anyone he wanted to a match until he lost. The warrant passed through various hands until the ban on martial arts was lifted. It was said to have last belonged to Seizo Kobayakawa, founder of the Nameless Dojo.
Seizo Kobayakawa is a stern teacher whose fighting philosophy can be summed up as: “Thou shall not use ju-jitu to harm others.” The number one student at the dojo is Masato, an orphan who was raised by Kobayakawa to be his disciple and heir to the establishment. One day, Masato successfully defends the dojo from a group of dojo-crashers looking to take possession of the Fighting Warrant. They scurry off but not before leaving a note that challenges Masato to a formal match. Although Masato tries to convince Kobayakawa to let him fight, Kobayakawa refuses to give his consent. Eventually, Kobayakawa is forced to tell Masato the truth of his father who was murdered while for the Fighting Warrant against a man named Toranosuke Kaneda. When Masato learns that Kaneda and his sons are conspiring against Masato to get back the Fighting Warrant, he vows to defend his father’s honor and take revenge on the Kanedas.
Kaneda and his supporters stoop to increasingly dirty tactics including sending spies, kidnapping and fighting unfairly Masato proves that for justice he will fight until the very end.
