- Synopsis
- Middle of 90th post-soviet country Andriy (main hero) is 18 y.o. the guy who was raised by his ill mother and join one of the local gangs seeking a bright future. Once at the disco Andriy met his old friend (Zhenya) who moved to Israel 5 years ago. No wonder that his friend looks cool – brand closes and new white snickers attract everyone at the disco. Andriy and Zhenya decided to walk a little. Zhenya tells about his life abroad and underlines that he has a higher status than Andriy. Zhenya humiliates Andriy’s dignity, saying that he is only an errand boy in the gang, that he rubs for his mother. After these words, Andriy starts a fight with Zhenya. Accidently Zhenya dyes, so the main hero hides the dead body in the river, and being shocked with what happened Andrew puts Zhenya’s white snickers on himself.
  When Andriy returns home, he sees two men in his yard. In one of them, Andriy recognizes Zhenya’s father, a local criminal authority. The men inform Andriy that Zhenya hasn’t returned home and Andriy is the last who had seen him.
  Andriy is surprised by what he hears and offers his help. All of them go in search. Andriy shows the places where he and Zhenya walked and tells about the details of their evening.
  Andriy says that then they just broke up on the river bank and now he doesn’t know where Zhenia. The men, realizing that they have lost track, release Andriy, but when he gets out of the car, Zhenya's father notices his son's sneakers on him.
  How and why did Zhenya's sneakers end up on the guy? Where is his son now? The father decides to find out the answer to all these questions by the harshest method and arranges justice for Andriy himself. He brutally tortures the boy by tying him to a car and dragging him across the field. A friend of the father helps to tie up and beat up the boy.
