    • The inspiration for this live-action film adaptation is Part 4 of the manga, Diamond is Unbreakable, which follows the exploits of Josuke Higashikata. Set in the fictional location of Morioh, modeled on the city of Sendai in Miyagi Prefecture, its story focuses on Josuke and his friends who fight using a supernatural ability called “Stand.” The title is linked to the name of Josuke’s Stand, “Shining Diamond.”
