- Synopsis
- 24-year-old Samuel is only 135cm tall. But his small stature is no reason for him to hide: under the name "Jimmyjoe" he is known to a national party audience as a show dancer. But sometimes Sam is also thoughtful and brooding: he doesn't know his roots and only knows that he has been adopted. Now he wants to go looking for his biological mother. The journey takes him to Lisbon, where he discovers something surprising... "Jimmyjoe" is a touching and encouraging film about the handling of physical disability and psychological injuries.
