    • Synopsis
    • A female photojournalist from Europe - on assignment in post-revolutionary Egypt - witnesses the violent harassment of a young female activist by riot police while documenting a protest march in Cairo. As the young woman is being taken away she shouts out her name "Jehanne" and begs for aid. Thus begins the photojournalist's quest to discover the fate of the abducted activist – a religious Bedouin girl from the western desert and a modern-day Egyptian Joan of Arc.
