- Synopsis
- This film is based on real events. A friend of mine, Ahmed, was accused by a man of being his assaulter. His fate relied exclusively on the word of the victim, which was above all suspicion.
  What drew my attention was how the system tried to mold Ahmed to fit the role of a criminal, although nothing from his personal story pointed towards that. When Ahmed spoke about this man, he just referred to him as: “ a poor guy that is trying to make things work out”. The film was born from this enigmatic “poor guy” whom I chose to call Eddie. He became not only the main character, but also the one through which the film is told.
